Overall, this rifle rates in about Good to Very Good condition as an antique. The metal shows a freckling of light surface erosion. The front of the barrel shows patches of surface erosion. The metal shows scrapes, scratches, and varying degrees of discoloration from oxidation. Overall Condition: This rifle has lost its metal finish to oxidation. There is fouling and intermittent erosion in the grooves. The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition as a refurbished antique.īore Condition: The muzzle & grooves are grey and the rifling is crisp. The LOP measures 13 ½ inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttstock. Many of the marks have damaged small portions of the surface wood. Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock has a straight grip, finger grooves, barrel band, and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage. The “C” markings designate this as a Carbine sight.
